Ok, so the only thing going for my title today is that it rhymes!
The lovely Emmy Rossum – looks so stylish in ETRO below, I thought I’d take a look at her fashion history. I hope you enjoy it!
Lots more besides!

February in Dubai is the “Dubai Shopping Festival” – and if ever the people of Dubai needed an excuse to shop – here it is – sale, sale, sale!
Not wanting to be left out I too headed to the mall – to my current favourite – Bloomingdales – hoping to bag a bargain. I bagged not one – I bagged two and they were by Velvet – a label I have had my eye on since I first came across it in the summer.
One of my bargains was this draped cardi:
This fab little number was half price and it dresses up any number of outfits – especially as I’m feeling the love for silver at the moment. I love it, it’s well made, great fabric and…..made in the USA – almost as rare as the label that reads “Made in England” – something to cherish!
Anyhow, Velvet is my recommended label for casual chic pieces – classics with a twist. The line is designed and run by Americans Jenny Graham and Toni Spencer (below) and described as a “contemporary t-shirt collection” – I think it’s more than that, but it sums up simplicity of the line well. It’s run out of LA and is focused on quality, chic pieces.
Here are a few looks from their latest collections:

Graham and Spencer also run other lines, including menswear – definitely worth keeping an eye on their collections.
