Dolce and Gabbana Stars – tacky…

I love Dolce and Gabbana. Not least as they are totally in my corner when it comes to celebrity fashion lines…suggesting they should bring out a pop single next season… I do love them. But I am disappointed with their A/W 2011/12 collection…the collection covered in stars – it’s just so…so?…so?….Dorothy Perkins! Yep, that’s it…no, wait, Mark One…that’s what it is – it looks so cheap!

And what’s more…it is so easy to copy! So every high street store is now adorned with tacky copies and star motifs…yuk. It’s a shame really – as I love stars – and wanted to use them in my collections…not now.

I hope it was a fleeting phase in an otherwise stylish history of the label.

My freedom lost to a puppy!

I’ve been quiet for a couple of weeks…largely because I have been pre-occupied…by….my gorgeous new puppy!!!

Our little chap is a miniature dachshund called Dash – totally adorable…needs to pee every hour or so…I’m doing a lot of potty outings!

 

He’s is totally the best buy of the season! Not that pets should be likened to fashion…he’s more of an investment piece – timeless. Ooo I do love him so!
